Zachary Petit of Fast Company asked 5 creative leaders (Julia Beardwood, Emily Oberman, Freddie Öst, Mike Perry, and Matt Quinn) what they would choose themselves to redesign this year if they didn’t have any real-world constraints placed on them. Call them dream projects, if you will. Redesign absolutely anything you want, big or small, without worrying about budget or practicality. Their responses were thoughtful and thought-provoking.

I would love to redesign the broken system for exploring and finding one’s ideal career path. Mentoring young people is a top priority for me, and it boggles my mind that even with the world’s knowledge at our fingertips, Gen Z seems as mystified about career options as I was at their age. It’s not their fault; we’re just not prioritizing making it easier.
